Gangabal lake trek is certainly one of the most stunning treks in the Kashmir area of the Jammu & Kashmir kingdom. Gangabal lake trek expedition is the simplest trek in Kashmir which remains open most of the year. Gangabal lake is nestled on the foothill of Mount Haramukh and overwhelmingly one of the maximum beautiful lakes inside the region. Naranag, however, is in the Ganderbal district and is understood for its totally scenic meadows and historical Temples. Gangabal lake is a short trek that is fine taken at some stage in the midsummer. The trekking path is as beautiful as the destinations it passes through crystal clear brooks, lush inexperienced meadows, and delightful gorges and ridges. at some point in the path experience the salubrious weather and the pristine nature this is nothing less than ideal.
On arrival at Srinagar airport, our representative will receive you and transfer you to the houseboat at Dal Lake for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at houseboat we drive to Naranag and we pack our load on horses and start our trek. Our trail a slightly steep, passes through pine forest of Butsheri and through the meadows of Bodpathri we camp at Trunkhol for an overnight stay.
We leave Trunkhol meadow and walk through grassy fields. We camp at Gangabal Lake for an overnight stay. These are two lakes Gangabal and Nundkol situated at the foothills of Mount Haramukh.
We leave Gangabal and Nundkol Lakes and trek through the meadows of Trunkol and descend to Naranag village through the pine forest of Bodpathri. Here ends our walking. We take our car and drive back to Srinagar houseboat for an overnight stay.
