This charming region isn’t best well-known as a pasture but also for its ancient heritage. The Mughals used to go to Poonch using this route. it is said that they had built a seven-story building (Dam-Dam).
The Basmai Gali(13,000 ft) is the pass that leads into TosaMaidan is meadow in Khag tehsil of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 10 km from Khag in the mountains of the Pir Panjal range.

The region is full of springs; the only one in its vicinity at Khag is most famous for the curative properties of its waters. you will either trek the distance from Yousmarg or catch a Sumo jeep from Srinagar.
The location is connected by roads to places like Gulmarg and Poonch. The fine time to visit this tranquil pasture is between June and September. As after September, the valley experiences heavy snowfall, and all the connecting links are severed.
